During this especially hard time for our heroes in blue, Kendra & Pat Shortz have been delivering goodies to the MBPD at both stations, Oak Street & Mustang Street. It could be trays of cookies to homemade blueberry breads, and it hasn't gone unnoticed. Thank you ladies, for reminding the officers there ARE people in the community "Backing the Blue."
Our Association does NOT expect kudos or recognition for what we do, but this touched my heart. It is thank-you's like this that makes us feel like we made life a little easier for our "heroes in blue." (click on the 2nd image to read the entire text)

Barbara: Thank you to you and your generous volunteers for making Christmas special for those who had to serve their community on Christmas Day. It took on a special meaning given the circumstances that have impacted relationships between the police and the citizens across this country. Thanks for showing the support and passion for these outstanding officers.

Barbara, Would you please pass along a message to all who were involved in the preparations and the service of the Christmas Day Dinners for the MBPD personnel, that I have heard nothing but praise for all of the efforts put forth by the CPA Alumni. Everyone was so impressed by the food and the kind thoughts that went into this effort.
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for all that you have done to make for a warm and special holiday for the working Officers of the MBPD.
